For normal healthy skin, the pH ranges should be from 4.5 to 6, depending on the skin type. It is the right pH that allows the skin naturally fight off harmful microorganisms. Unfortunately, most cleansers, soaps, or even ultra-hard water or intense sunlight does not balance the pH for skin protection. To counteract these harmful effects, a tonic is needed, and for the tonic to bear its benefits, it is important that it is alcohol-free and flavor-free, enriched with useful extracts.
